Featured Programs

Yorkshire Academy is a busy place. Our days begin at 7:00 a.m. as ‘Safecare’ students arrive, our regular school-day program starts at 7:45 a.m. for elementary students, the afterschool classes commence right after school, with the day ending at 6:00 p.m. In between those times students can be coached in PSIA (academic competition), go to the Wortham to see an opera, listen to an author describe what inspired them to write a book, or brush up on their Chinese lessons or tennis swing afterschool.

Yorkshire Academy has recently grown into a very popular Houston summer school choice by offering both academic classes as well as a myriad of weekly enrichment camps. Students can combine the two thereby keeping their academics sharp and also enjoying exposure to new and exciting subjects they may not have to time to engage in throughout the school year. Programs are offered for students 18 months to sixth grade.
