Life After Yorkshire?

Our students are sought after by the most well respected Houston middle schools. Yorkshire students are known to be self-confident, intelligent, motivated, and have had the benefit of a very well-rounded private school elementary education. We are fortunate that our graduates keep in regular touch with us, so we hear how seamless their transitions are and how they excel at the various schools they choose.

Where Do Most Students Go for Middle School?

Yorkshire Academy students choose various paths as they continue their education, but the majority stay within the private school realm. For those students who make the move to public school they thrive there as well. Because of the International make up of Yorkshire, many of our students move either back to their home country, or on to some new wonderful country for their next adventure.

Many recent school choices for Yorkshire graduates are: Awty International School, Duchesne Academy, Grace School, Kinkaid School, St. Francis Episcopal School, St. John School, Second Baptist School, The Village School, as well as various public schools in the Spring Branch and Katy areas.

Where Do Most Students Go for High School?

We are always so surprised at how quickly we receive updates as to where our alumni have chosen for high school—time goes so fast. Of late, several of our students have chosen Houston Christian High School, Strake Jesuit High School, St. Agnes High School, Memorial High School, Stratford High School, Cinco Ranch High School, Taylor High School, and The Village School.

And University?

Yorkshire students continue to amaze us with their scholarly pursuits, both at the undergraduate and graduate level. Of course, many of our students choose from the wonderful Texas universities, Baylor University, Texas A & M University, Texas Christian University, Rice University, University of Texas at Austin, University of Houston, with others choosing out of state choices such as Boston University, Elon University, Harvard University, and University of Pennsylvania.
