Special Activities

Yorkshire Academy is one busy place! Just glance at our school calendar, and you will see that the activity never stops, and that’s just the way we like it. Some special activities are traditions, such as our annual musical productions, Dads & Donuts, Buckaroo Breakfast, Spelling Bee, etc., but there are other events that are unique to a given year.

Recent special activities include our wonderful 25th anniversary celebration, where we enjoyed seeing over 450 alumni families and teachers, as well as so many of our current families, and an amazing Yorkshire Olympic Opening Day Celebration. Our Olympic Celebration involved an actual parade of over 45 countries, many students and family members in their respective country garb, the most delicious food from all over the world, a former Olympic athlete speaker, and Olympic games for the children to play.
